Joining the threads of a new warp to those of a used warp by twisting together the beginning end of a new thread to that of an old thread. The joining is effected by simply rolling the two threads between a finger and thumb. Twisting-in is quicker than drawing-in and is used when the same healds and reed are to be again used for the new warp. In jacquard looms twisting-in is done at the loom. -
